{"id":5724,"date":"2021-04-08T13:35:27","date_gmt":"2021-04-08T08:05:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demo.testctsl.in\/indiafirstepaper?p=5724"},"modified":"2021-04-08T13:35:27","modified_gmt":"2021-04-08T08:05:27","slug":"blast-at-bangladesh-mayors-residence-injures-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.testctsl.in\/indiafirstepaper\/2021\/04\/08\/blast-at-bangladesh-mayors-residence-injures-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Blast at Bangladesh Mayor&#8217;s Residence Injures 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">At least 20 people were injured in a blast at the residence of a Bangladesh municipality Mayor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The incident took place at about 9 p.m. on the night of April 6 when Haji Abdus Salam, the Mayor of Mirkadim municipality in Munshiganj district, was attending a meeting with councillors and other officials in the second floor of the building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The injured people included four councillors and the Mayor&#8217;s wife. Salam however, remained safe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Twelve of the injured were immediately taken to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka, while one person is undergoing treatment at Munshiganj General Hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Meanwhile, physicians of the Dhaka hospital told the media that one of the patients has been taken to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 60 per cent burn injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Abu Bakar Siddique, officer-in-charge of Munshiganj Sadar Police Station, said the reason behind the blast could not be ascertained immediately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At least 20 people were injured in a blast at the residence of a Bangladesh municipality Mayor.
